Driving Lessons Cramlington-Accidents

Recently I have observed a number of accidents in the Cramlington area. On the East Cramlington road, the Spine road, Annitsford roundabout. (No surprises there). What has been particularly odd about them, was I arrived moments after the accident in each instance. Almost spooky, how close it was.

I wondered whether I was fortunate in terms of timing, or being reminded of the consequences of getting my job right? I endeavour to promote safety and good driving practice, as I hope all Driving Instructors do. Yet collisions occur all the time.

Sometimes a lack of consideration for others, is to the cause. Surveys often say attitude is to blame. Inevitably the Driving Test is altered to deter others from the same outcome.

Driving Lessons Whitley Bay- Instructors

Driving Instructors
We have a duty to do things right and to set an example to others. Afterall we are supposed to be teaching people how to do things correctly. Yet almost on a daily basis my students and I see driving Instructors abusing their position or flouting rules and laws. Possibly they feel they do not apply to them, or they are above all that but they miss the fact , that they are being observed by others and they are setting a bad example of our industry, both to the public and especially to their students.
In the past month I have observed instructors from one particular company #### N Go. Who on two occasions were parked on double yellow lines. Instructor only in car. Twice saw an instructor block a roundabout, showing a complete lack of regard for others. On three occasions saw the above companies instructors park on keep clear school markings, endangering students leaving and entering the school gates.
Whilst teaching a student last week, we had to brake sharply as an Instuctor from the above company, emerged from a junction in front of us without looking. My student was furious, that a Driving Instuctor should show such a poor lack of repect for others and potentially cause an accident.
I must stress this is not having a go at a particular company as there were a number of others doing the same or similar offences. It just happenned that, that company stood out for the number of examples of bad behaviour.
Begs the question ” What sort of consideration are their students going to show others and how good is their knowledge of driving going to be like, if they copy their Instructors.

The Worlds Gone Mad

In the past week I have witnessed a series of scary driving scenarios. First whilst I was waiting in a traffic jam due to an accident. I watched an elderly woman decide to do a 3 point turn on a slip road joining the dual carriageway. Only to then block the entry of an emergency ambulance, trying to get to the crash site.

I took photos of the event because, frankly I would have doubted anyone telling me what I was witnessing. The one catagery of person who probably has more time on their hands than the rest of us shows the least level of patience and lack of regard for others. It beggars belief.

Today I was stunned to see a woman approaching the roundabout I was on, coming out of the dual carriageway on the inbound road. Apparently she had come on to a tailback of traffic and decided to turn round and drive back up the dual carriageway, the wrong way for about 100 meters to get to the roundabout.

What happened to safe lady drivers? Im at a loss for words. I spend my whole working life trying to promote safety and courtesy to others, so my students are directed on the right path, only for them to observe people of their parents age acting like complete morons. Talk about setting an example.
